Professor Duu-Jong Lee, Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU) and Chair Professor and Dean of College of Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) joined the Editorial Board of Biofuel Research Journal (BRJ). 

Professor Duu-Jong Lee received his Ph.D. degree in 1989 from Department of Chemical Engineering at NTU. Professor Lee is the recipient of many national and international awards and fellowships and is the Life-Time Distinguished Researcher by National Science Council of Taiwan. He serves as editorial board member of seven international journals (Bioresource Technology, Chemical Engineering Science, Journal of Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers, Drying Technology, Advanced Powder Technology, Separation Science and Technology, Journal of Residual Science and Technology) and also served as guest editors for special issues of Bioresource Technology, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Applied Energy, Desalination, Chemical Engineering Science, Advanced Environmental Research, Water Science and Technology, Drying Technology, Separation Science and Technology. He is also referee of over 50 scientific Journals and hosted or co-hosted yearly more than ten international academic conferences/workshops. Professor Lee has strong research interest in the area of industrial wastewater treatment, biomass to energy and environmental management, especially in microscale transport/reaction process in biomass matrix. During the past 25 years of his career, he has completed several projects successfully and developed various processes with full-scale applications. The research carried out till-date has credited him with more than 1000 publications/communications. The citations in SCOPUS on Dr Lee’s work has exceeded 10000 with h=46. Professor Lee is currently also the President of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers with 3500 members in Taiwan and overseas.
